Several dozen fire engines and two railroad fire engines were deployed. A fuel reservoir near the town of Liski was affected.

The Russian Ministry of Defense in Moscow announced that 27 Ukrainian drones had been intercepted over the Belgorod, Voronezh, Tambov and Kursk regions during the night. This military information could not be independently verified.

Attack on powder factory

In the Tambov region, the attack was aimed at a gunpowder factory in the town of Kuzmino-Gat, reported the Russian telegram channel Shot. This was also confirmed by Ukrainian sources. There was no information about damage to the factory. The regional administration only stated that the roof of a private house had been damaged.

In its defense against the Russian invasion, Ukraine has systematically attacked militarily relevant industrial facilities in Russia with drones or missiles in recent days.

The Ukrainian air force announced that it had intercepted 34 of 55 approaching Russian combat drones at night. A further 18 dummy drones without explosives were put out of action by electronic defenses. There was no independent confirmation of this information either.
