Lambsdorff is to appear there at 11.00 a.m. local time because of alleged contacts between German politicians and terrorist organizations, his spokeswoman told the German Press Agency (dpa) in Moscow. Details of the accusations are not known.

"I will of course comply with the summons. I think it is unlikely that the Russian side will be able to substantiate its allegations," Lambsdorff said in advance, according to the spokesperson. Further information will be provided after the meeting at the ministry. German-Russian relations have been very tense for years.
