At least eight people were killed in a Russian missile attack on the Ukrainian port city of Odessa last night. A further 27 people were injured, some of them seriously, the state civil defense announced on Facebook.

A bus carrying passengers was also hit during the attack on a port facility. Trucks and cars in a parking lot also caught fire. The information cannot be independently verified.
Just last Thursday, a woman was killed in Odessa in a Russian drone attack on a car. Her three children were seriously injured, the regional military administrator Oleh Kiper announced on Telegram.
Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin ordered the invasion of Ukraine almost four years ago. Since then, Russia has been waging a destructive war of aggression against its neighboring country. The civilian population of Ukraine in particular is repeatedly targeted by Russian attacks.
