Politics Schoof: New election after coalition break in the Netherlands

New elections are to be held in the Netherlands following the break-up of the governing coalition. This was announced by the independent Prime Minister Dick Schoof after the right-wing populist Geert Wilders had previously announced the withdrawal of his radical right-wing party from the government in a dispute over asylum policy.
