After another week of more than 1,400 Russian airstrikes, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has made an urgent appeal to the West for more support for the country. "Every day, Russia attacks Ukraine with drones, missiles and glide bombs," he said in a message posted on his Telegram channel. Images of death and destruction in Ukrainian cities can be seen in a video published for this purpose. Russia had attacked Ukraine with around 50 missiles, almost 660 drones and more than 760 glide bombs in the past week.

"We need more air defense systems," it said at the end of the video. Russia will not end its war on its own. "The world must force it to end its brutal and unprovoked aggression," said Selenskyj. In addition to air defense, the country needs missiles with a longer range and more sanctions pressure to strengthen its defenses.
Ukraine has been defending itself against the Russian war of aggression for almost three years.
