Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi has called for further support for his country after a week of more than 2,100 Russian attacks from the air. During this period, Russia dropped almost 1,200 guided glide bombs and attacked targets in Ukraine with 870 combat drones and 80 missiles, he announced on Telegram.

He pointed out that Russian weapons were often manufactured using foreign components. It was therefore necessary to better implement the existing sanctions in order to prevent Russia from further destroying Ukraine, he demanded. However, Ukraine is also working on strengthening its air defense.

Russia has been waging a war of aggression against its neighbor for three years. This involves not only hitting targets on the front, but also civilian objects in the hinterland. While the figures published by Selenskyj represent a slight overall decrease compared to the previous week - when there were 2,300 attacks from the air - the number of missile attacks has quadrupled.
