Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi has announced new talks on ending the Russian war of aggression in Abu Dhabi for next week. "The dates for the next trilateral meetings have been set - February 4 and 5 in Abu Dhabi," he announced on Telegram. He had received a corresponding report from his negotiating team. Trilateral talks - i.e. between Ukrainian and Russian representatives as well as US negotiators - had already taken place in Abu Dhabi last weekend.

"Ukraine is ready for a substantive discussion and we are interested in a result that brings us closer to a real and dignified end to the war," Selensky announced.
The Ukrainians and Russians had announced this Sunday that they would resume direct negotiations in Abu Dhabi on ending the war, which began a week ago after a long delay. It was unclear whether a meeting would take place there. The Kremlin in Moscow and Zelenskyi had announced the date, but - as last week - did not specify an exact place or time.
