Russia Selenskyj: Preparing a meeting in the USA
Following the meeting between US representatives and Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin in Moscow, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi has held out the prospect of new talks between the Ukrainian delegation and US representatives. "We are preparing meetings in the United States," he said in his evening video message. Ukraine is expecting news on this in the next few days.

The talks with representatives of US President Donald Trump are to be continued by a group led by the Secretary of the National Security Council, Rustem Umyerov, and Chief of the General Staff Andriy Hnatov.
Everything is currently going quite well, he said, referring to negotiations in Geneva and Florida on a US plan for a possible end to the war in Ukraine. He once again called for pressure on Russia. Everything depends on the combination of constructive diplomacy and pressure on the aggressor, said Selenskyj.
At his sixth meeting with Putin, US special envoy Steve Witkoff explained the status of US considerations for peace in the Ukraine war. He was accompanied in the Kremlin for the first time by Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner. Putin's foreign policy advisor Yuri Ushakov said after the five-hour meeting that no compromise had yet been found. Russia has been waging a destructive war of aggression against Ukraine for almost four years.
