Following another major attack by Russia with drones, bombs and missiles against Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelensky has lamented the lack of "real reactions" from the West. "Unfortunately, there is no adequate, strong reaction from the world to everything that is happening," said Zelensky in his daily video address. Above all, there is no reaction to a steady increase in the scale and brazenness of the attacks. "This is exactly why (Kremlin leader Vladimir) Putin is doing this: he is simply laughing at the West, at its silence and the lack of decisive countermeasures."

Moscow has so far rejected all proposals to end the war or at least stop the attacks. "Russia is openly trying to destroy our civilian infrastructure, and right now, before winter, the gas infrastructure, power generation and transmission," said Selensky.
On Sunday night, the Russian military attacked Ukraine with 53 missiles and several waves of attack drones. Five people died in the attacks and 18 others were injured.
In this context, Selensky complained that the Russian attack drones contained components "that continue to be supplied by Western countries and various neighboring countries of Russia". It is astonishing that, even after three and a half years of war, no one allegedly knows how the supply of these critical components can be stopped. "The almost 500 drones that the Russians deployed last night contain more than 100,000 foreign-made components," Selensky cited as an example.
