Several thousand people took part in the 33rd March of Hope in Geneva on Sunday. This year's focus was on the West African country of Mali. The event was organized by Terre des Hommes Switzerland.

According to the organizers, almost 7000 people took part in the march, including around 2500 children. The aim of the mobilization was to raise money for the organization's education projects in Mali and the rest of West Africa.

According to Terre des Hommes, Mali faces numerous challenges, particularly in terms of access to quality education, especially in rural and remote areas.

The donations collected on Sunday will be used to create the conditions for children to return to school. This includes tutoring programs, the construction of new classrooms and the distribution of school kits.
