Party Swiss Foundation for Landscape Conservation now led by a female duo
The Swiss Foundation for Landscape Conservation is now managed by a co-leadership. It consists of the former Bernese city parliamentarian Franziska Grossenbacher and Rahel Marti. This was announced by the foundation on Friday.

Franziska Grossenbacher is a geographer and has been working for the Foundation for Landscape Conservation since 2016, according to the press release. She was previously deputy head of the foundation. In Rahel Marti, she will be assisted in future by a qualified architect and spatial planner. The new management duo took office on Friday.
The two are following in the footsteps of Raimund Rodewald, who led the foundation for 33 years. He performed his role extremely broadly and ensured that the foundation had a consistently strong presence in landscape design, the statement continues. The Foundation would like to thank him for his outstanding commitment over the years.
When asked by Keystone-SDA, Franziska Grossenbacher said that although Raimund Rodewald's footsteps are large, he was also young once and she is looking forward to the challenge. The 43-year-old can count on her experience in politics: she was a member of Bern's city parliament from 2013 to 2020 and co-chair of the Green Alliance parliamentary group from 2015 to 2018. She is currently a member of the municipal parliament of Muri-Gümligen.
