A Swiss couple drive their motorhome to a parking space. Suddenly the vehicle rolls off - while the wife is sitting in the vehicle.
A Swiss couple, Kurt (69) and Trudi Waiser (69), stopped at a popular motorhome site at the fish market while passing through Hamburg. While trying to park the motorhome in the best possible spot, Kurt got out to check the site.
The 450,000-franc vehicle suddenly started moving backwards and rolled down a stony slope, according toBild. Trudi was sitting in the back of the camper van when it tumbled down the slope and ran over a fence before plunging into the Elbe.

Kurt immediately called the fire department and climbed into the vehicle himself to rescue his wife. Fortunately, he was able to free her almost unharmed.
According to Bild, numerous rescue workers were on the scene, including divers, a rescue service, a helicopter and the police, which attracted many onlookers. The couple were escorted up the slope, with Trudi even without shoes.
They escaped with a few grazes and considerable damage to the camper van, but were not seriously injured.
