A Swiss couple, Kurt (69) and Trudi Waiser (69), stopped at a popular motorhome site at the fish market while passing through Hamburg. While trying to park the motorhome in the best possible spot, Kurt got out to check the site.

Kurt immediately called the fire department and climbed into the vehicle himself to rescue his wife. Fortunately, he was able to free her almost unharmed.

No serious injuries

According to Bild, numerous rescue workers were on the scene, including divers, a rescue service, a helicopter and the police, which attracted many onlookers. The couple were escorted up the slope, with Trudi even without shoes.
