Customs Thousands at the Fribourg Carnaval des Bolzes
Almost 10,000 people took part in the Carnaval des Bolzes in Fribourg on Sunday. Afterwards, they followed the trial of the Rababou and with him the evils of the past year. In keeping with tradition, this ended with the burning of the Rababou.

Fourteen floats, nine Guggenmusiken and five groups, schools and buses on children's feet, a total of around 1200 participants, paraded through the streets of the lower town, according to the Brotherhood of Bolzes Carnivalists, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. There were no incidents.
The night procession through the town on Saturday evening, in the light of the lanterns and the Guggenmusik bands, was a wonderful spectacle.
The Carnaval des Bolzes has been celebrated in the lower town of Fribourg for 57 years.
