Europe Trump on peace plan: Not the final offer

According to US President Donald Trump, the US peace plan for an end to the war in Ukraine is probably not the final offer after all. The Republican answered a question from a journalist in Washington in the negative, before adding: "We are trying to end it one way or another."

As recently as Friday, the Republican had increased the pressure on Ukraine and called on the country to essentially agree to the project by next Thursday.

According to the daily newspaper "Washington Post", the USA combined the ultimatum with a threat. If the country attacked by Russia resists the peace plan, it must expect to lose US support, the newspaper reported, citing several people familiar with the matter.
