Following the successful talks with Ukraine on a ceasefire, an American delegation is on its way to Moscow, according to US President Donald Trump. "We know that people are traveling to Russia as we speak," Trump said at a reception for Irish Prime Minister Micheál Martin at the White House. The talks with Kiev in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, had been a "great success". Now it was up to Russia to agree to this, said Trump.

The day before, the Ukrainian delegation had declared its willingness to agree to an immediate 30-day comprehensive ceasefire. The USA then resumed its temporarily suspended military aid.
