USA Trump wants to meet Zelensky
US President Donald Trump says he wants to meet Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi in the Swiss Alpine resort of Davos. He initially spoke of a meeting today, Wednesday, but later corrected his statement to journalists and declared that the meeting would take place on Thursday, as reported by the US television station CNN.

He believed that the Ukrainian president wanted to make a deal, Trump claimed in Davos, where he was attending the World Economic Forum. "I think I can say that we're reasonably close." The Republican repeated his demand that the war in Ukraine, which has been going on for almost four years, must end.
The Ukrainian portal "Jewropejska Prawda" described a meeting in Davos as possible, but no longer on Wednesday. In many of the country's cities, citizens often have to endure hours of cold and darkness during the day.
