Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk is not ruling out the start of negotiations on Ukraine this winter. "Our EU Council Presidency will be partly responsible for the situation in the negotiations, which could begin this winter," said the liberal-conservative politician in Warsaw.

In this context, Tusk announced a series of meetings with foreign politicians. French President Emmanuel Macron is expected in Warsaw on Thursday. At the beginning of the Polish EU Council Presidency, he will receive British Prime Minister Keir Starmer in Warsaw and travel to Oslo for a visit. "I am in constant contact with our Scandinavian and Baltic allies, who see Poland and the Polish Presidency as leaders in future measures, which I hope will bring peace," Tusk continued.
