Two people have been killed in a Russian drone attack near Vovchansk in the eastern Ukrainian region of Kharkiv. The man and woman were riding a moped when they were hit by the drone, the region's police announced on Telegram. At the same time, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky also reported on Telegram about his visit to the front in the region and the city of Kharkiv.
Among other things, Zelenskyi reported that Russia was also deploying mercenaries from China, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Pakistan and African countries in the region. He did not give any details. The President repeatedly visits places close to the front to encourage the soldiers and people to fight against the Russian invasion.
Ukraine has been defending itself against the Russian war of aggression for more than three years.
