According to Ukrainian authorities, two people have been killed by a Russian missile attack on the port of Odessa.

The dead were a security guard and a truck driver, according to the governor of the region's military administration, Oleh Kiper. A sailor on watch was injured. He did not give any details about damage to the port facilities.

The port of Odessa is important for Ukrainian exports of grain and other goods via the Black Sea. According to earlier military information, Moscow also suspects that Ukrainian naval drones are being produced there.

According to the Ukrainian air force, Russia used four Ch59/Ch-69 cruise missiles and an Iskander-M missile in the night-time attack. Three of the cruise missiles were intercepted.

Russia also used 20 Iranian-made Shahed combat drones to attack various parts of Ukraine. It was reported that 14 drones had been shot down. This daily air force information cannot be verified in detail, but it gives an overview of the type and severity of the attacks.

According to the authorities, there was one hit on a power supply facility in the western region of Rivne. Residents in the surrounding area were temporarily without power, according to the utility company Ukrenerho. According to the Rivne military administration, there was a fire, but it was contained.

"No people were injured in this attack," wrote Governor Olexander Koval. Ukraine has been fending off a Russian invasion for almost two and a half years.
