Russia has once again attacked Ukraine with drone strikes during the night. According to the Ukrainian air force, Moscow attacked the neighboring country with 139 drones. Of these, 67 were shot down and the location of a further 71 was lost. This is mostly due to the use of electronic defenses. According to official information, a residential building in the Sumy region burned as a result of a drone attack. There were initially no reports of casualties.

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that 36 Ukrainian drones had been intercepted over the Russian regions of Volgograd, Rostov, Belgorod and Krasnodar. According to the authorities, several houses and cars were damaged by falling drone debris in the city of Slavyansk-na-Kubani in the Krasnodar region. A power line was damaged in the Belgorod region. Several villages are therefore without electricity.
Ukraine has been defending itself against the Russian invasion with Western help for almost three years. As part of its defense campaign, it also repeatedly attacks targets in Russia.
