According to Ukrainian air defenses, 103 Russian combat drones were shot down on Saturday night. The Ukrainian air force announced on Telegram that the location of a further 51 missiles without warheads had been lost. This is mostly due to the use of electronic jamming equipment. According to the information, drones were shot down over a total of twelve Ukrainian regions.
According to Mayor Ihor Terekhov, at least seven people were injured in the eastern Ukrainian metropolis of Kharkiv as a result of the drone attacks. There were also reports of damage in the Kiev region. In the capital Kiev, the air defense also fought drones.
Russia repels Ukrainian attacks
On the other side, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported 48 Ukrainian drones shot down over seven Russian territories and the annexed Ukrainian Black Sea peninsula of Crimea. For the time being, no damage has been reported.
The information provided by the warring parties is almost impossible to verify independently. Ukraine has been defending itself against the Russian invasion for just over three years.
