According to Russian media reports, Ukrainian drones have hit a militarily important battery factory in Russia. Telegram channels reported several explosions in the city of Yelets, 400 kilometers south of Moscow.

The governor of the Lipetsk region, Igor Artamonov, announced that drone debris had caused a fire on a factory site. The company was evacuated.
According to official information, the attack also damaged a residential building in Yelets. Nine people were injured and taken to hospital, according to the Russian Ministry of Health in Moscow. According to media reports, the Energiya factory produces batteries that are also used in drones, airplanes, ships and radio technology.
Moscow air traffic still disrupted
According to the Russian military, it has intercepted more than 110 Ukrainian drones since Thursday evening. Moscow airports were again temporarily banned from taking off and landing at night.
According to Ukrainian authorities, Russian drone attacks during the night reached unusually far to the west. Damage was reported in the Chernivtsi (Chernivtsi) and Ivano-Frankivsk regions. In the early morning, there was still an air alert in the regions of Kiev and Zhitomir.
