Russia Ukrainian drones over many Russian regions
According to Russian reports, Ukraine attacked several regions of Russia with swarms of combat drones during the night. According to reports from Russian telegram channels, one focus was the Krasnodar region on the Black Sea. A fire had broken out in the city of Novorossiysk, which is important as a naval base and oil port. Anti-aircraft fire and explosions were heard over the port city of Anapa. The Ministry of Defense in Moscow announced that 85 enemy combat drones had been shot down at night. Such military figures cannot be independently verified. Regarding the geographical spread of the attacks, it was reported that the regions of Krasnodar, Voronezh, Belgorod, Tambov, Kursk in the west and south of the country and the annexed Black Sea peninsula of Crimea were affected. However, the airports in Kazan, Nizhnekamsk and Ulyanovsk in the Volga region also temporarily suspended operations due to the potential danger of drones.

Two apartment buildings were hit and several people injured in a drone attack in the small western Russian town of Kotovsk in the Tambov region. This was announced by the deputy governor of the region, Yevgeny Pervyshov, on his Telegram channel. "There are no fires, the buildings are slightly damaged," he continued.

The Ukrainian air force announced that 47 of 74 Russian drones attacking at night had been shot down. Damage caused by the attack was reported in the Dnipropetrovsk region, among others. Infrastructure facilities and an industrial building were damaged there.
