Stefanchuk announced that the request would be dealt with at one of the next sessions of the Supreme Rada. Other handwritten resignations had previously been published on the Facebook page.
Minister from pre-war times
Kuleba, a career diplomat, had been foreign minister since 2020, even before the start of the Russian war of aggression. Since Tuesday, several Ukrainian ministers and two deputy heads of government have officially requested their dismissal from the government. President Volodymyr Zelensky announced a cabinet reshuffle in July. As he says, this is intended to make government work more effective under the burden of the war.
