According to the United Nations, the Israeli military has once again attacked a border crossing between Lebanon and Syria. An Israeli airstrike hit the Dzhusia border post, where many people from Lebanon cross the border into Syria, wrote the UN High Commissioner for Refugees, Filippo Grandi, on X.

Humanitarian structures have also been hit. Even the escape - and the care of those fleeing - is becoming difficult and dangerous as the war continues to spread, Grandi continued. The Israeli military did not initially comment on this.

According to Lebanese authorities, more than 400,000 people have crossed the border into Syria since the start of the intensified Israeli attacks in Lebanon in mid-September. The majority of them are Syrians, while around 30 percent are Lebanese.
