A Unia survey of apprentices showed that one in three had experienced racist discrimination during their training. As part of a week of action, Unia was present in various Swiss cities with stands and campaigns to combat structural racism, as the union announced in the run-up to the day. The week will conclude with a concert in Bern on Friday under the motto "Solidarity against racism".
Various Swiss cantons and cities are also involved in the fight against racism and racial discrimination. The week of action against racism takes place every year around March 21 in many places, as the Federal Commission against Racism writes.
