At least one person has been killed in Russian missile attacks in the south-eastern Ukrainian industrial city of Dnipro. Eleven others were injured, the head of the military administration of the Dnipropetrovsk region, Olexander Hansha, announced on Telegram. Six of the injured had to be treated in hospitals.

According to Mayor Borys Filatov, a student dormitory, two university buildings and several residential buildings were damaged in the attack.

According to the authorities, at least five people were also injured in Russian drone attacks in the large city of Zaporizhia, around 50 kilometers to the south.

Ukraine has been defending itself against a Russian invasion for more than four years.
