Charlie Kirk had made Turning Point USA the largest conservative youth organization in the country. Kirk supported Donald Trump in his election campaign and was an influential representative of his "Make America Great Again" (MAGA) movement. On September 10, the 31-year-old was shot dead at an event at a university in the state of Utah.
Erika Kirk explains hug with Vance
Recently, a photo of an intimate embrace between Erika Kirk and Vance on an open stage went viral on the internet at the end of October. In the Kelly interview, Erika Kirk explained that it was a very emotional moment for her at the time, as a video of her husband had just been shown: "I walk over, he comes towards me. I start to cry. He says he's so proud of me. And I say, "God bless you." And I touch the back of his head." That's just the way she is. If someone wants to take that out of context, they should do so, says Kirk.
Vance has not yet taken any concrete steps towards a presidential candidacy in 2028. In a recent interview with Fox News, he explained that he was currently focusing on his role as Vice President and the 2026 midterm elections. After that, he would sit down with President Trump to discuss the possibility of a candidacy.
