A woman has been killed in the south-eastern Ukrainian industrial city of Nikopol as a result of Russian artillery fire. Another woman was injured and taken to hospital, the governor of the Dnipropetrovsk region, Serhiy Lysak, announced on Telegram. According to the information, a five-storey residential building was damaged.

Nikopol is located on the Ukrainian-controlled side of the Dnipro River opposite the Russian-occupied Zaporizhia nuclear power plant.
