Several insider trading interventions have been carried out in an international operation in Switzerland and elsewhere. These took place as part of criminal proceedings brought by the Office of the Attorney General of Switzerland against five individuals.

The individuals are suspected of having exploited confidential and price-sensitive information relating to a listed and internationally active Swiss company, the Office of the Attorney General of Switzerland (OAG) announced on Wednesday. The interventions for exploiting insider information took place on Tuesday in Switzerland, Germany and the UK.
