Fire disaster Questioning of bar owner Jessica Moretti
Almost three weeks after the fire disaster, the operators of the "Le Constellation" bar in Crans-Montana VS were summoned again by the Valais public prosecutor's office on Wednesday. Jessica Moretti in particular is to be questioned on Wednesday.

While Jacques Moretti was brought in a prisoner transporter at around 8.05 a.m., as on Tuesday, his wife and her two lawyers, Yaël Hayat and Nicola Meier, arrived at the public prosecutor's office in Sion on foot at 8.30 a.m., as a Keystone-SDA photographer observed. None of them made a statement.
Once again, dozens of victims' lawyers are following the questioning. This is being conducted by a pool of competent public prosecutors.
As the accused, Jessica Moretti must give her statement on the events of the night of the tragedy. The couple are currently accused of involuntary manslaughter, negligent bodily harm and negligent arson following the tragedy in which 40 people died and 116 were injured.
Jacques Moretti has been in custody since January 9 and hopes to leave prison this week. An application to this effect was submitted to the compulsory measures court of the canton of Valais at the beginning of the week. A decision is expected shortly.
