The Vaud public prosecutor's office informed the Keystone-SDA news agency on Thursday that it had received the independent expert opinion and decided on the same day to add it to the files. It thus confirmed a corresponding report by the French-speaking Swiss radio and television station RTS.
The document concludes in particular that there were deficiencies in the planning and construction of the scaffolding, explained the spokesperson for the public prosecutor's office, Vincent Derouand. "The parties to the proceedings have been informed and invited to comment within a period of one month. The investigation will continue and further hearings will take place," he added.
