Tampering with evidence in connection with the fire disaster in Crans-Montana VS could be the result of delayed investigations on the Swiss side. This is what the Italian ambassador to Switzerland suspects.

"Undoubtedly", replied Gian Lorenzo Cornado, ambassador in Bern and recalled to Rome by the Italian foreign minister on Saturday, in response to a question from Bruno Vespa on the Rai 1 program "Cinque minuti".

And with regard to the operator of the ill-fated bar "Le Constellation" in Crans-Montana, Cornado said: "Waiting nine days before arresting Jacques Moretti, not searching his apartment, not confiscating his cell phone and not securing the documents held by the municipality of Crans-Montana certainly contributed to the manipulation of evidence."
