In order to ensure a smooth transition, she will remain with the bank until the end of the year. The search for a successor has been initiated, according to the press release.

Kostakis has been with Bank Julius Baer for 13 years. She took over as Chief Financial Officer in 2022. Under her leadership, the bank has diversified its financing profile, accelerated its digital transformation and built up an efficient finance organization, the bank writes.

"I would like to thank Evie Kostakis for her leadership and tireless commitment to our company", said Stefan Bollinger, CEO of the bank, in the press release.

With the departure of Kostakis, the Julius Baer Executive Board will have been completely renewed since Stefan Bollinger took over as CEO in January 2025. Deputy CEO and COO Nic Dreckmann, who also held his positions under Bollinger's predecessor Philipp Rickenbacher, had already announced his departure in mid-April 2026.
