Knitting enthusiasts shared their passion for "Lisme" at the weekend in Zurich-Oerlikon: The first knitting festival, the "Knitfest", was all about "Inestäche, umeschlah, durezieh und abelah".

The initiators are two passionate knitters. With the "Knitfest", they wanted to create an event where "Lismerinnen" and "Lismer" of all skill levels could meet to learn, exchange ideas and get new ones.

The organizers expected around 4000 visitors. The program included lectures, panel discussions and an exhibition of wool brands, tools and accessories. Well-known knitting influencers were also on site - for example Lærrke Bagger, "a star of the scene".
