Retail trade Lidl Switzerland boss will not be moving to Austria after all
Lidl Switzerland is not getting a new boss after all. Nicholas Pennanen is not moving to Austria as originally planned, but will remain CEO of the local branch of the retail group.

Pennanen will remain CEO of Lidl Switzerland for the longer term, the retailer announced on Tuesday. Nevertheless, there will be personnel changes. According to further information, Alessandro Wolf, currently CEO of Lidl Austria, will take on a higher-level role as Head of Division at the Lidl Foundation from September 2024 and will be responsible for several countries in this role.
Benny Klein, currently GL Sales & Logistics at Lidl Switzerland, is moving to Lidl Austria. He will assume responsibility for Sales & Logistics there. Sven Joller, previously Managing Director of a regional company in Austria, will succeed Benny Klein as Head of Region at Lidl Switzerland.
