In the appeal proceedings against a former brothel operator, the accused told the Lucerne cantonal court that she had treated the women in her establishment fairly. Otherwise, she made only a few statements on the matter.

"I've already said everything" or "I can't remember", the Swiss woman from Thailand said several times during the trial on Thursday. According to the first-instance verdict, she allegedly ordered Thai women from poor backgrounds for her brothel on Baselstrasse in Lucerne as if they were goods for her establishment and exploited them sexually.

The accused was sentenced to 6 years and 2 months in prison by the criminal court in 2023 for human trafficking, pimping and money laundering.
