The Lucerne Criminal Court has found a 25-year-old Afghan man guilty of the murder of his acquaintance. He is to receive a prison sentence of 20 years and a 15-year ban from the country. The verdict is not yet final.

The accused, who lives in Brest (F), is alleged to have killed an acquaintance with 25 stab wounds and nine cuts during a short stay in Lucerne, according to the prosecution. The motive for the murder is still unclear.
