According to the police and the public prosecutor's office, investigations are underway "on suspicion of a homicide within the family". The 63-year-old German is suspected of the crime, but there are currently no indications of an external perpetrator.
Investigators gradually find five dead bodies
According to the police, a carer had initially found the man's lifeless 60-year-old sister in her apartment in Reutlingen on Tuesday morning. It turned out that the woman had suffered fatal injuries. Suspicions quickly arose against the woman's brother.
During a search of his home in Pfullingen on Tuesday evening, special forces found the bodies of the 63-year-old man and his 57-year-old wife. Both had gunshot wounds and the suspected murder weapons were found next to the bodies. Whether the man possessed the weapon legally as a hunter is currently being investigated.
The police then searched the man's business premises in St. Johann. There they found the bodies of the man's 27 and 29-year-old sons. They also had gunshot wounds.
