The Baden public prosecutor's office is seeking a life sentence for a 59-year-old Swiss man: in March 2023, he allegedly strangled his partner in Würenlos AG and then dumped her body on the Limmat bridge in Dietikon ZH.

The accused man confessed to killing his partner during questioning, the public prosecutor's office announced on Friday. Investigations by the criminal investigation department also indicated that the crime was not spontaneous, but planned.

The public prosecutor's office has now filed charges. It is pending before the Baden district court.
