An unknown man robbed a petrol station store in Arbon early on Wednesday morning. He threatened an employee with a weapon and demanded cash. He then fled with several hundred francs, according to the Thurgau cantonal police on Friday.

The crime took place after 4.15 a.m. at the BP petrol station on Landquartstrasse, the police added. The sales clerk remained physically unharmed.
