According to media reports, six people were slightly injured during the evacuation of a Ryanair passenger plane at Mallorca airport due to a fire alarm. The people were able to leave the plane in an orderly fashion through the emergency exits, but some jumped from the several-meter-high wing in their panic.

The British newspaper "Sun" reported, citing information from the airline, that the plane was due to fly to Manchester in the UK. A replacement aircraft was promptly provided. It was a false alarm.
A total of 18 people were treated by paramedics, island media reported. Six people were taken to hospital. However, none of them suffered serious injuries.
Island media published video footage of the plane on Friday evening. It shows people climbing out of an open emergency exit onto the right wing and then getting down to the floor and running away from the plane. No smoke or flames can be seen.
