Austria Media: Several dead after shots fired at school in Graz
According to ORF, several people have been killed in a shooting at a school in Austria. The broadcaster reported this with reference to the Austrian Ministry of the Interior. The media reported eight deaths in Graz. The suspected perpetrator is said to be among them.

"The situation is secure. No further danger is assumed," the police wrote on Platform X.
Shots were fired at the high school at around 10.00 a.m., the police confirmed. Special units were alerted immediately. The building was evacuated, the police wrote. Pupils and teachers were directed to a safe meeting place.
Numerous emergency services were deployed. An assembly point was set up for parents.
The public was asked to avoid the area around the educational institution and to follow the instructions of the security forces on site. According to the APA news agency, Interior Minister Gerhard Karner (ÖVP) was on his way to the scene this morning.
