Starting at 8 a.m., the members of the armed forces covered various routes in the Chablais in the cantons of Vaud and Valais in groups of four in heavy snow. Until the end of the competition on Sunday, they will be confronted with various scenarios - including encounter combat, counterattack, ambush, hand-to-hand attack and anti-tank combat.
The competition is based on the former Swiss Raid Commando, an international military competition that was held in Switzerland from 1986 to 2009.
