According to the documents presented, Misox is expecting a federal contribution of CHF 9.8 million and a separate contribution of CHF 16.9 million from the Federal Roads Office. A further CHF 14.3 million is to come from the canton, CHF 12.4 million from the Graubünden building insurance company and CHF 11.5 million from third parties. The Misox municipalities want to raise 9.2 million francs themselves.

"There is a lot to do," said Philippe Sundermann from the regional coordination group to the media. And there will also be a lot to do in the next two years.

Roads, infrastructure, agricultural land, buildings and hydroelectric power plants need to be restored. In addition, protective structures against natural hazards need to be repaired and, if necessary, extended. Work is already underway.
