A 19-year-old motorcyclist was clocked at 118 km/h in Erlen TG on Friday. The speed limit on the stretch in question is 50 km/h. The cantonal police confiscated the man's learner's permit, as reported on Saturday.

The patrol assessed the driver as unfit to drive. He stated that he had consumed drugs. The police ordered a blood sample and a urine sample. The man will have to answer to the courts for speeding.
