Nestlé announces the retirement of Head of Strategy Sanjay Bahadur. The Head of Group Strategy and Business Development will retire at the end of December after a career spanning more than 40 years with the food company.

In his current position, Bahadur is responsible for portfolio management, the identification and execution of M&A transactions as well as venture funds, external partnerships and licensing agreements, as Nestlé announced on Thursday evening.

Following Bahadur's resignation, Philip Mellor, currently Head of Legal M&A, will take over as Head of M&A and report directly to CFO Anna Manz, a spokesperson told the news agency AWP. He will therefore no longer be part of the Group Executive Board.
