Social media New Friends tab brings back the old Facebook experience
According to a media report, the world's largest online network Facebook has announced a new friends tab. It should make it easier to only see posts from people you know. The online network will thus function in this area as it used to.

In the platform's main feed, the Facebook group Meta 2022 switched to showing users posts selected by a software algorithm.
Meta manager Tom Alison told the New York Times that this should remain the case in the central feed. The company does not expect the friends tab to become the most popular area of the app.
The new function will initially be introduced in the USA and Canada, according to a blog post. There was no information on how quickly the friends section will be available in other countries.
