The Graubünden government has allocated CHF 1.45 million to create a new specialist unit for the digital transformation of Graubünden tourism. The "GRdigital" association is to manage the specialist unit. The pilot project is initially limited to four years.

It is a challenge for tourism companies in the canton of Graubünden to deal with the complex task of digital transformation, the government wrote in its press release on Thursday morning. The new specialist unit will now provide the necessary knowledge in this area.

The aim is to enable employees to choose the right digital strategies for their company. In addition to the advice provided by the specialist unit, a "mediation tool with curated content" is to be created. This could be imagined as a kind of "Wikipedia" for the digitalization of tourism in Graubünden, according to the government.
