Chip manufacturer Nvidia passed the symbolic threshold of 4 trillion dollars in market capitalization for the first time on Wednesday. The decisive factor was the continuing enthusiasm of investors for companies related to artificial intelligence (AI).
In an optimistic market environment that was unimpressed by Donald Trump's new tariff threats, Nvidia shares rose by 2.6 percent to 164.07 dollars at the start. Since the beginning of the year, its share price has risen by more than 20 percent.
